Remembering Alberta’s legendary bear whisperer: From the archives

The stories, the research and the photos captured by Alberta naturalists Charlie Russell and Maureen Enns — about two decades ago — remain unforgettable. Russell passed away six years ago today, but the work he and then-partner Enns did surrounding bear research still offers up many lessons worth remembering.
