HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Hawaii Army National Guard will conduct a helicopter flyover over the Kaimuki and Manoa neighborhoods on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2024.
The flyover is in conjunction with the University of Hawaii football game.
The flyover will feature two helicopters—one UH-60 Blackhawk and one CH-47 Chinook—and is scheduled for approximately 6 p.m.
The Hawaii Department of Defense is notifying the public in advance about the noise from the aircraft as they approach and fly over the football game.
The event aims to showcase the capabilities of the Hawaii Army National Guard’s aviation units.
