The clinic runs from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is open to children ages 6-13. It aims to focus on building fundamental skills in throwing, catching, and teamwork.

“We’re excited to bring back our Raising Cane’s and Barefoot League sports clinics this winter, expanding with baseball and softball to help keiki develop an active lifestyle,” said Ali Urbick, Raising Cane’s Marketing Leader. “Youth sports are such a vital part of our communities, and our goal is to inspire kids to get involved, learn new skills, and have fun.”

This clinic marks the third in a series of free sports events hosted by Raising Cane’s and Barefoot League, following football and soccer clinics at Mililani and Kaimuki High Schools earlier this year.

The baseball and softball sessions will feature former and current college and professional players and coaches, who will guide kids through drills to improve hand-eye coordination, throwing accuracy, catching fly balls, base running, and teamwork.

The clinic will be split into two groups: one for softball and one for baseball.

A total of 400 spots are available, with 200 allocated to each sport.

Parents can sign up online and choose the appropriate session based on their child’s age and sport preference.
