HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hawaiian Electric announced around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday over 3,000 customers were without power in Makaha on Oahu.
Similarly, almost 3,000 customers were announced to not have power at 4:30 p.m. from Waimea town to Puukapu Farmlots to Kohala Ranch area on Hawaii Island.
The outages are said to not be a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS) and first responders have been notified.
