HONOLULU (KHON2) — Impacts from Kilaueaʻs most recent eruption is not only having impacts downwind but in the sky as well.
Hawaiian Airlines said they canceled two flights early this morning due to the eruption as they waited for weather reports.
Operations resumed at 6:40 a.m. after clearance was given.
All impacted travelers were accommodated on other flights.
