Hawaii baseball brings win streak to Long Beach

The University of Hawaii baseball team is set to put the nation’s longest winning streak on the line when it heads to Long Beach State for a three-game series.

At 32-15 overall, including 15-9 in Big West Conference play, the Rainbow Warriors have won 11 games in a row.

The streak is the longest of the Rich Hill era at UH. It is also the first time since 1995 that the ‘Bows have at least 10 straight wins over Division I competition.

Hawaii is currently in fourth in the Big West standings and five games behind UC Santa Barbara (35-12, 20-4 Big West).

With six games remaining in their 2024 schedule, an at-large postseason bid appears unlikely as the ‘Bows are currently ranked 69th in RPI.

Game 1 between the Beach (22-25-1, 8-16) and Rainbow Warriors is set for 3 p.m. HST on Friday and will be streamed on ESPN+.
