Hawaii County Fire Department is investigating the cause of a residential fire that occurred just before 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hilo.
The fire was fully extinguished within 30 minutes of HCFD’s arrival.
The fire was confined to the back portion of the house, with no damage to surrounding structures. The two occupants were not injured.
