MAKAHA, Hawaii (KHON2) — A juvenile was apparently shot in Mākaha Valley Friday morning, according to DLNR.
The incident appears to be related to hunting activities in the valley.
DLNR said the weapon that was involved was seized and there is no known danger to the public.
The juvenile was taken to a medical center.
DOCARE officers remain at the scene and are investigating potential firearms, hunting and trespassing violations.
