HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Great Aloha Run is on Monday February 17, 2025. The course starts at Aloha Tower Marketplace and finishes at Aloha Stadium.
Henry “Hank” Choy has participated in the Great Aloha Run since the start and has no plans to stop. “It all started with the bed races, my wife worked for one of the stores that was sponsoring one of the races, it all started with the shopping carts then converted to the race itself,” says Choy.
Even when he deployed in the Middle East, or when he was out of state on race day, he made accommodations to participate in the Great Aloha Run.
This year, he will be in Japan and completing the race there.
The Great Aloha Run Expo is happening February 15 & 16 at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
