HALEIWA, Hawaii (KHON2) — Multiple first responder agencies are responding to Haleiwa Boat Harbor for an apparent shark attack.
According to Honolulu EMS, the call came in around 1:40 p.m. when it was reported that a 23-year-old male suffered an apparent shark bite to his arm.
Paramedics administered advanced life support before transporting the man to an emergency room in serious condition.
Witnesses told KHON2 the incident happened out at sea.
