The spring 2025 semester is beginning at six campuses on Oʻahu, with areas around UH Manoa, such as the H1 freeway and surrounding streets, expected to see the largest increase in traffic.

Other UH campuses such as Leeward Community College, Kapiʻolani Community College, Honolulu Community College, UH West Oʻahu and Windward Community College will also see traffic increases around them.

UH officials say the first two weeks of the semester contain the heaviest traffic, however they expect traffic to be lighter than pre-pandemic years due to the increase of online work and classes.
