HFD extinguishes building fire in Pearl City

PEARL CITY, Hawaii (KHON2) — At 11:42 a.m. on Jan. 28, the Honolulu Fire Department received a 911 call pertaining to a building fire in Pearl City.

The fire was found to originate from a self-storage unit on the second floor of the building. HFD confirmed there were no occupants in the structure, and the fire was extinguished by 12:14 p.m.

There were no injuries.

HFD has initiated an investigation to determine the origin of the fire, as well as to provide damage estimates.
