Wanted suspect in Windward attempted murder turns himself in

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Thursday morning saw the attempted murder of a young woman. She reported that the suspect in the case rammed and fired shots at her vehicle.

She was hospitalized in serious condition, and the police were searching for the suspect until Friday when he turned himself in.


HPD searching for suspect ‘considered armed, dangerous’ in Waimanalo

During the course of the investigation, the suspect turned himself in to the Kapolei Police Station this afternoon.

Officers with the District 4 Crime Reduction Unit arrested the 45-year-old male for first-degree attempted murder and first-degree criminal property damage.

Charges will be sought with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
