The Chaminade Silverswords Men’s Basketball team is currently in the top-5 of The PacWest Conference Standings.
Some of the big help this year, has been Junior transfers, Kent and Kris King.
Kris and Kent are twins out of Washington D.C. who played for Vincennes University of the previous 2 seasons.
“Being from Washington D.C., Hawaii is almost like a myth, a dream, you never see it. Just being out here I almost have to pinch myself like ‘do I have to wake back up to reality’, it’s just crazy man, I’m super blessed,” said Kent.
KHON2 Sports sat down with the twins to find out more about their journey from D.C. to Hawaii.
Kent currently leads the Silverswords in Free Throws Made with 81 (nearly 30 more than the next best). Kris sits 3rd on the team in Free Throws Made with 46.
“I take pride on focusing on my Free Throws and drawing fouls, I take pride in it,” said Kris.
The Twins both saying they feel comfortable at Chaminade and hope to bring success to the program.
Chaminade currently has a 14-9 overall record and 8-8 in The PacWest Conference.
Next game for the Silverswords is Saturday, February 9th against Jessup at home.
