HONOLULU (KHON2) — A new exciting deal between the Los Angeles Rams and the Hawaii Tourism Authority can bring some NFL events to the islands as early as summer 2025.
Documents stated the team will be conducting carious marketing activities in Los Angeles and Japan as well as community events on Maui.
The terms of the deal also revealed the Rams could play a game here in the islands and it’s all part of the $1.86 million deal.
“Due to NFL geographic markets, only the Los Angeles Rams could feasibly host team activities in Hawaii as we are considered in their regional market,” said HTA in the state document.
“The LA Rams have offered HTA a proposal with robust marketing assets, including the Japan market and community impact.”
Last year, Governor Josh Green and other tourism officials traveled to Los Angeles to meet with team officials and thanked them for their support after the Lahaina wildfires.
