Campbell’s Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele named Elite 11 finalist

Campbell quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele was selected to the Elite 11 finals, becoming the first from a Hawaii high school since Tua Tagovailoa of Saint Louis won the competition in 2016.

The Elite 11 has been the nation’s foremost quarterback showcase for nearly two decades, producing a bevy of future NFL signal-callers.

Other quarterbacks with Hawaii ties who have been featured in the competition since Tagovailoa include former University of Hawaii quarterback Cammon Cooper, as well as a pair of island quarterbacks who began their high school careers in Hawaii but ended elsewhere in Taulia Tagovailoa (Kapolei to Thompson High School in Alabama) and Sol-Jay Maiava (Kahuku to St. John’s in Washingtion D.C.).

The 2024 Elite 11 finals will take place from June 18-20 in Los Angeles.
