HONOLULU (KHON2) — For over 120 years, Meadow Gold has provided quality milk, ice cream and juices for generations of Hawaii families and communities.
Meadow Gold continues to spread aloha after coming out with some “dreamy” new products.
“In the past few years, we have been strategically pursuing products that we can start producing locally versus bringing in from the mainland,” explained Kimia Sadeghi, Business Development Manager for Meadow Gold Dairies Hawaii.
Many locals know and love Meadow Gold’s classic Orange Dream Bars, the classic ice cream treats that Meadow Gold has been known for.
Meadow Gold has come up with something even more exciting for the people of Hawaii to enjoy. They created a line of locally-flavored ice cream novelty dream bars — which includes POG, or passion orange guava, chocolate haupia and strawberry guava.
The inside is made with premium, creamy ice cream that combines perfectly with the local flavored outer shells made of sherbet.
“The launch of this new product is part of Meadow Gold’s mission to produce locally and support communities throughout the state. We do this by sourcing local ingredients whenever possible, utilizing the talents of our local people. These premium ice cream bars made with premium ingredients and local flavors is just the start of what we plan to do in the future,” said Sadeghi.
These new dream bars are currently sold at 7-Eleven on Oahu, KTA on the Big Island, and Island Grocery on Maui. The bars will be coming soon to more local retailers.
