HONOLULU (KHON2) — Federal workers who recently lost their jobs and are currently searching for a new one are encouraged to head to the “Operation Hire Hawaii Recruitment Event.”
The Hawaii Department of Human Resources Development will host the event to recruit workers to fill vacant positions across Hawaii’s public sector.
Jobseekers can visit over 25 state agencies and departments and 16 City and County agencies to find a position right for them.
Governor Josh Green said the event is perfect for those who want to make a difference in the community and help build a stronger Hawaii.
The state of Hawai‘i offers more than just stable employment – its a pathway to a purpose-driven career with unmatched benefits, professional growth and long-term security. Whether you’re graduating high school, college, or switching careers, employment with the state is a smart move.
