PUNA, Hawaii (KHON2) — Solomon Lord, 31, of Puna was arrested and charged on April 16 with misdemeanor Abuse of a Family or Household Member, Unlawful Imprisonment in the Second Degree as well as multiple firearms-related charges, Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen said.
Police reports say that officers recovered multiple unserialized firearms at his residence, including rifles and a semi-automatic pistol.
Lord made his first appearance in the Hilo District Court on April 21, with his bail maintained at $484,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 23.
His charges total to 18 offenses, with the most serious offense being Ownership or Possession Prohibited, a class B felony firearms-related charge which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison.
If convicted, Lord would be subject to a mandatory prison term and ineligible for probation.
