HONOLULU (KHON2) — For Earth Month, a local business invites the community to experience the world of bees through a talk story and tasting event.

WakeUp2Day’s Chris Latronic joined co-owners Richard and Shiyana Wainscoat and Manager Stephanie Wethe of Kailua Honey to learn about their thriving business.

He also got a glimpse of the tasty Earth Month celebration “flights & bites” while learning about the importance of bees in our world.

Bee Talk Story & Tasting is a guided experience that introduces guests to the world of bees in Hawai‘i. You’ll get a no-stings peek into hive life and enjoy a guided Honey Tasting featuring our raw island varietals in Kailua Honey’s tasting room and boutique.

For those looking to elevate their palate, guests can upgrade to a rare Global Honey Flight, sampling exotic honeys from around the world, alongside signature Hawai‘i-grown selections.

The guided experience will take place on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Honey Flight & Bites self-guided tour is accessible Thursday through Saturday at 10 a.m. and noon, and Fridays at 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
