HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 45-year-old woman is in serious condition after being hit by a vehicle while riding her bicycle Sunday night in the Kapahulu area.
According to the Honolulu Police Department, the crash happened around 10:03 p.m. on Kaimuki Avenue.
The woman was hit from behind while heading eastbound at the time.
Police say the driver did not stop and continued eastbound on Kaimuki Avenue.
Honolulu Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and transported the woman to a nearby trauma hospital in serious condition.
Police are asking anyone with information about the crash to call the Honolulu Police Department’s Traffic Division at (808) 723-3413.
The investigation is ongoing.
