Hanauma Bay to stay open late for public art initiative

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Hanauma Bay is open late on May 27 for the City and County of Honolulu’s public art initiative “Wahi Pana: Storied Places.”

The evening will feature the premiere of a film by Kekahi Wahi, a grassroots film collective.

“We thought that Hanauma Bay is the most visited site in the Hawaiian islands; so, video is a really wonderful way to spread that information far and wide,” said Wahi Pana Co-Director Donnie Cervantes.
