HONOLULU (KHON2) — Maui Fire Department and State Airport firefighters are working to address a brush fire near Kahului Airport.
According to the Maui Emergency Management Agency, the brush fire is in the area of Haleakala Highway and Lelepio Place.
While no action is needed at this time, MEMA strongly advises the public to avoid the area to “allow first responders to work.”
