HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Kaua‘i Fire Department is responding to a brush fire in Kekaha near the bottom of Kokee Road.
The fire was reported shortly after 7:45 a.m.
Fire officials reported the fire is under control but the size is not currently known.
The Kaua‘i Emergency Management Agency and the Kaua‘i Island Utility Cooperative is monitoring the incident.
Kokee Road is closed from Kekaha Road to the Waimea Canyon drive junction.
