HNL Terminal 1 debuts TSA wait time screens

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The state Department of Transportation announced security checkpoint times that will be displayed on Terminal 1 of the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, which made their debut on June 13.

Checkpoint displays will be added to Terminal 2 after improvements are made to Checkpoint 3, such as new air conditioning, ceiling renovation and lighting.

The state Department of Transportation estimates the improvements to both locations to be complete in late 2026.
