HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 23-year-old man was arrested for Terroristic Threatening in the First Degree after allegedly brandishing a firearm and threatening to shoot a 34-year-old man, the Honolulu Police Department said.
The incident occurred on June 20 shortly before noon, when the two men were involved in a traffic incident on N King Street and Waiakamilo Road, police said. That’s when the suspect displayed the weapon, threatening to shoot the victim, authorities said.
The victim pulled over on the side of the road, and the suspect fled, according to authorities.
The suspect was located by HPD on Laʻa Lane, where the arrest was made, police said.
The victim was not injured in the confrontation.
