HONOLULU (KHON2) — A masked individual threw a Molotov cocktail at a vehicle on the night of June 20, Honolulu police said.
Officers were initially alerted of the Honowai Street incident after a woman reported her truck was on fire. Upon investigation, police found surveillance footage of the incident.
The footage showed an unknown male on a light-colored moped throwing the Molotov cocktail on the vehicle before fleeing southbound.
The suspect was wearing a long-sleeved orange shirt and had a mask over his face. Police are investigating this as an Explosive Devices and Arson in the Second Degree case.
