HONOLULU (KHON2) — Prosecuting Attorney Steve Alm said the Honolulu Police Department’s use of deadly force in the 2023 Pearl City unattended police rifle case was justified.
In a press conference on June 24, Alm reviewed the findings of their independent investigation and stated that no charges would be filed for the HPD officer who shot and killed the suspect.
