HONOLULU (KHON2) — Back by popular demand, the “Sharing the Butterfly Experience” is back this summer, showcasing locally raised live monarch butterflies.
WakeUp2Day’s Chris Latronic went live at the Butterfly Hale in Pearlridge Mauka Center Court with a preview.
This year, the experience features a pop-up butterfly house showcasing locally raised live monarch butterflies.
Visitors are invited to step into the garden and immerse themselves in the fascinating life stages of these magnificent insects through guided tours.
Guests can even participate in feeding the butterflies, enhancing their interactive experience with these delicate creatures. Lucky visitors might even have the enchanting experience of a butterfly alighting gently on their head or shoulder.
Admission to the butterfly exhibit is priced at $9 per person. Children under two years old can enter for free when accompanied by a paying adult. Additionally, military families can enjoy a $1 discount on Sundays.
