HONOLULU (KHON2) — An illegal gambling operation was busted in Waianae this week, leading to one man in police custody.
According to Honolulu police, the bust took place on July 8, with officials executing a search warrant on the room located near Farrington Highway.
During their investigation, the Honolulu Police Department said officers retrieved 20 gambling machines, more than $3,600 in cash and illicit drugs.
In addition to the recovered items, HPD said they also arrested a 29-year-old man for Promoting Gambling in the Second Degree and Possession of a Gambling Device.
