Keiki, canine, and kitty fest is back!

HONOLULU (KHON2) — This paws-itively awesome event is hosted by the Hawaiian Humane Society for families and animal lovers to enjoy.

Come sit, stay, and play on Saturday, July 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 91-1945 Fort Weaver Road.

This free event will be sponsored by Josie’s ʻOhana, who is covering all adoption fees for animals at the Hawaiian Humane’s Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili and Mōʻiliʻili Campus for the entire day.

“Supporting the Kosasa Family Campus and its remarkable impact on our West Oʻahu community continues to be incredibly meaningful to me,” said Helen “Josie” Josypenko of Josie’s ʻOhana.

Attendees of the event will experience local food vendors, interactive games, prizes, on sight adoptions and a Keiki Corner.

“This festival demonstrates how community celebration and animal welfare can beautifully intersect, creating space for our keiki to develop genuine connections with animals in need while inspiring the next generation to carry forward our shared commitment to caring for all living beings,” said Josypenko.

Bringing pet food for the Hawaiian Humane’s Pet Food Bank or Wish List items is highly encouraged by attendees.

To guarantee the safety of all attendees and animals, Hawaiian Humane asks that personal pets stay at home.
