HONOLULU (KHON2) — Newly elected College Baseball Hall of Famer and other community members will unite on Saturday, July 26, in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
The Alzheimer’s Association – Hawaii announced the Coaches2ENDALZ event hosted at Murphy’s Bar and Grill.
The event’s honorees all share a personal connection to the cause, including Coach Les Murakami, and many more.
“We are honored to champion Hawaii’s beloved coach and passionate caregivers and community advocates,” said Don Murphy, owner of Murphy’s Bar & Grill. “Alzheimer’s rates are rising across the globe at alarming rates, and we feel privileged to give back to family members and caregivers who are working tirelessly to support their loved ones.”
All proceeds from the event will be used to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association programs, an organization focused on research, education and prevention initiatives.
Tickets are available for purchase now for $60 per person, and VIP tables with eight seats are available for $500.
The evening will include dinner and drinks, silent auction, prizes and tributes to Hawaii’s dedicated community leaders.
All that’s asked of the attendees is to have a good time for a good cause in attire repping their favorite sports team.
