The Big Islanders 9u Cal Ripken team competed in the World Series Championship on Saturday in Florence, Alabama.
Hilo ended up falling in the championship game but despite the loss, have been crowned the 2nd place finishers in the entire country.
The Squad was also named the winners for the sportsmanship award throughout the tournament.
Central Oahu also played on Saturday as they competed in the Cal Ripken 9U 3rd-4th place game.
Both squads competed well in Alabama as they represented the islands on the World Stage.
