HONOLULU (KHON2) — A 43-year-old male has been arrested for the armed robbery of a home on Waiomao Road.
On Aug. 10, the 76-year-old victim was held at gunpoint in their home by a suspect who demanded money, stole personal property and then left the scene, Honolulu police said.
Honolulu Police Department officers responded to Waiomao Road around 12:10 p.m., after the victim reported the incident.
After investigating, Robbery Detectives were able to identify the suspect.
On Aug. 11, HPD officers located the suspect just before midnight; he was arrested for Robbery in the First Degree.
Charges will be pursued with the Department of the Prosecuting Attorney.
