Aliʻi Akana is a 53-pound, three-year-old American Pit Bull Terrier mix who was brought to the Hawaiian Humane Society in early August after his owner could no longer care for him.
This handsome, well-mannered boy has won over staff and volunteers with his playful energy and companionship.
During a recent field trip, his adventure buddy couldn’t stop praising his enthusiasm for car rides and his remarkably calm demeanor at bustling coffee shops and restaurants.
