Female, 57, dead after stabbing in Kalihi

HONOLULU (KHON2) — Honolulu police and paramedics are investigating a stabbing in Kalihi.

On Sept. 15, HPD took to social media to confirm that around 8 p.m., a 57-year-old female and a 27-year-old male were in an argument, when the argument escalated and the male stabbed the female victim.

According to Honolulu EMS, paramedics responded to the female who suffered multiple critical injuries from the stabbing on Olomea St.

Paramedics administered advanced life support and transported the patient to an emergency room, where she was later pronounced dead around 9 p.m.

The suspect was arrested for Murder in the Second Degree.
