HONOLULU (KHON2) — It’s time for Food2Go, and today we’re featuring the Brunch Spot Waikīkī. It’s a cute place to brunch and enjoy organic, locally-grown ingredients.
COO Dawit Kim tells us they’ve been running Sushi Spot Waikīkī for a few years, and they noticed mornings were wide open. So why not bring something new to Waikīkī — an organic brunch spot? That’s how Brunch Spot Waikīkī started. They share the same space, sushi at night and brunch in the morning, so it’s the best of both worlds.
Kim says there focus is on fresh, local and organic ingredients. They use 100% grass-fed beef from North Shore ranches, and their signature gravy is slow boiled for more than 24 hours. Two of the most popular dishes — the loco moco and our Waikīkī omurice — really showcase that flavor. And for those who want something lighter, they’ve got avocado toast, berry pancakes and even a lox bagel.
