HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Capital Grille, known for its dry-aged steaks, fresh seafood and extensive wine list, recently opened its first Hawaiʻi location at Lilia Waikīkī. General Manager Jasmine Peterson, Sales Manager Amanda Tandurella and Executive Chef Gordon Burke joined Wake Up 2Day with the details.
Peterson said the restaurant opened on Sept. 10 and is open daily for dinner at 4 p.m. Locally owned and managed by Union MAK Corp., the Waikīkī location seats 252 guests and features three private dining rooms perfect for gatherings and celebrations.
Honoring Hawaiʻi’s history, the restaurant’s walls are adorned with portraits of Hawaiian Aliʻi and Duke Kahanamoku, adding a local touch to the elegant dining experience. The Capital Grille’s wine list includes over 225 bottles and 34 wines by the glass, offering something for every palate.
Burke highlighted favorites from the menu, including signature steaks, seafood dishes and indulgent sides — all crafted with The Capital Grille’s signature fine-dining flair.
