HONOLULU (KHON2) — This is Weekend Roundup, your go-to destination for weekend planning in the islands. For this weekend, we have everything from conventions, markets and more.
Here’s everything you need to have a fantastic weekend:
October 11
Oʻahu
At Windward Mall, there will be the Char-Su Productions Fall Craft Fair.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and feature locally made crafts, ono snacks and more.
In ʻEwa Beach there will be the 33rd annual Hispanic Heritage Festival and Health Fair.
The family-friendly event invites the public to enjoy delicious Latin food, entertainment, crafts, low-riders and more. There will even be a beer garden for the adults.
The festival will be at the AMVETS west Oʻahu from noon to 10 p.m., with admission costing $10 per person.
At the Polynesian Cultural Center, they will be giving free admission in honor of their birthday. There will also be a free evening performance and free merchandise giveaways beginning at noon.
Hawaiʻi Island
The 2025 Wāhine IRONMAN World Championship will be taking place in Kona.
Catch some of the world’s most impressive wāhine as they battle to be the best in the epic triathalon.
The race begins at 6 a.m., but the first finisher isn’t expected until approximately 3 p.m.
Kauaʻi
The Department of Parks and Recreation will be hosting their senior center craft fair at the Lihue Neighborhood Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The craft fair will feature handmade products such as blankets, quilts, cards and more for patrons to enjoy.
October 12
Oʻahu
The Ala Moana Center will be having a Mālama Hawaiʻi Makers Market from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The market will be in the Mauka Wing of the mall and feature plenty of locally made crafts and goods.
At the Hard Rock Cafe, there will be a paint and sip brunch with proceeds benefitting breast cancer patients and research.
Brunch will be from noon to 2 p.m., with seats needing an advance reservation. During the brunch, a local artist will guide you in making your own masterpiece while you enjoy some good drinks.

At the East-West Center, there will be an art gallery celebrating Filipino culture called Kulturang Makulay: Colorful Cultures of the Philippines.
The gallery opens on Sunday and will be available for viewing until March. The opening celebration will feature a guided tour and light refreshments, and will commence at 1 p.m.
Hawaiʻi Island
There will be an ʻOhana Celebration and Benefit Concert in Hilo at 1 p.m. until 8 p.m.
The live music will be at the Nani Mau Gardens and Event Space, with proceeds from the event benefitting health access for keiki and kupuna.
In addition to the music, there will be resources from local organizations.
The dress code is superheroes, so come dressed as your favorite hero!
Kauaʻi
Kauaʻi Comic Con will be happening at 11 a.m. at the War Memorial Convention Hall in Lihue. The convention will last until 6 p.m.
The event will feature movie screenings, a cosplay contest and special guest Sydney Agudong, the actress who played Nani in the live action “Lilo and Stitch.”
