Recall: Breakfast burrito’s pulled due to possible Listeria contamination

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The USDA is warning consumers of breakfast burritos that are potentially contaminated with Listeria.

M.C.I. Food Inc. is recalling 91,585 pounds of ready-to-eat breakfast burrito and wrap products containing egg that may have been contaminated.

The individually packaged frozen products were produced between Sept. 17, 2025, and Oct. 14, 2025, and were shipped to food service institutions nationwide.

The products have the establishment number “EST. 1162A” or “P-5890A” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Symptoms of Listeria include muscle aches, confusion, loss of balance, diarrhea and headaches.

The USDA says there have been no confirmed cases of the illness due to the consumption of the burritos.

Anyone who thinks they may have the illness should contact a healthcare provider.
