HALAWA, Hawaii (KHON2) – Honolulu police are investigating an armed robbery that happened this afternoon, Oct. 26, at the Halawa Heights Market.
According to HPD, the incident took place around 4 p.m. when a man walked into the store, pointed a handgun at the clerk, then ran off with the cash register.
Police said the suspect is believed to be in his 20s to 30s and was wearing a black hoodie, black pants, and a ski mask.
He was last seen leaving in a gold four-door Toyota sedan with dark-tinted windows.
There were no reported injuries following the incident.
