KAUAI (KHON2) — Federal authorities made dozens of arrests on Kauai as part of a joint effort involving Homeland Security, the FBI, the Drug Enforcement Agency and ICE.
According to a post on their Facebook page, Kauai County says a total of 44 people were arrested as a result of six federal search warrents that were executed at multiple residences and one buisness.
Kauai County says amoung those arrested were two suspected associates of the foreign terrorist organization “Tren De Aragua” based in Venezuela.
