HFD battling structure fire in Makaha

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Honolulu Fire Department is battling a building fire on Kili Drive in Makaha, after witnesses said they saw an explosion.

The blaze was first reported shortly before 9 a.m. on Nov. 6, with HFD responding to the scene within minutes, officials said.

Honolulu Emergency Medical Services and the Honolulu Police Department also responded to the scene, HFD said. Additionally, Hawaiian Electric was notified of the fire.

An investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the origin of the fire, according to HFD.
