“After a Maui couple paid $220,000 for major roof repairs, the contractor they hired took off, leaving them with a leaking, damaged roof and no money to fix it,” Dale Dixon with Better Business Bureau said. “So BBB Foundation’s Restoring Trust program put out the call to ethical local businesses, and recently, a handful stepped in to help in powerful ways.”
