Big Island 6 yo competing in Mullet Championships needs your vote

HONOLULU (KHON2) — The Mullet Championships are back, and a 6-year-old from Waikoloa, Jedidiah Luttrell, is making waves in the competition. Known as “Hammah Time,” Jedidiah is competing in the kids’ age 5 to 7 category and has advanced to the second round, alongside 32 other contestants.

Jedidiah, the youngest of three brothers, is known for his wild and energetic personality.

His parents, Linsey and Matt Luttrell, say his mullet hairstyle perfectly matches his dynamic character.

“It fits his personality. He’s wild and crazy but also gets things done,” said Linsey Luttrell. “He doesn’t let anyone stand in his way.”

Jedidiah is enthusiastic about the competition and is encouraging everyone to vote.

Voting is free and round two concludes next Tuesday.
