Work will be carried out Monday through Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., excluding holidays.

The scope of the project includes resurfacing and reconstructing the asphalt pavement on Mona Street, making adjustments to manholes, and adding new pavement striping and markers.

These improvements aim to enhance driving conditions, roadway visibility, and safety. The project will also involve reconstructing sections of the existing concrete sidewalks, curbs, and gutters to improve pedestrian access, as well as modifications to the water system and upgrades to the storm drain system.

Construction will proceed in phases, with the contractor working on one section of the project area at a time to minimize disruptions.

To manage local traffic effectively, the contractor will coordinate access for businesses, residents, and essential services including deliveries and emergency response.

In preparation for the project, “NO PARKING” signs will be posted along the affected roadways one week before construction begins.

Vehicles parked in posted areas will be towed at the owner’s expense.

Drivers are advised to anticipate detours and possible lane and road closures, and to allow extra travel time.

The public is urged to follow all traffic controls, posted signs, and instructions from Special Duty Police Officers to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
