Hawaii men’s basketball gains transfer from Valpo

The University of Hawaii men’s basketball team gained a transfer from Valparaiso starting forward Jerome Palm on Thursday.

Palm, a native of the Netherlands, is a 6-foot-10 forward who started 17 games for the Beacons in the 2023-2024 season, averaging 4.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game, shooting 48.7% from the field.

Palm began has collegiate career at Daytona State College and Hillsborough Community College before making the jump to Division I ball at Valpo for two seasons.

The 2024-2025 season is Palm’s final season of collegiate eligibility.
