Surfing for possibly the final time in her storied career, Hawaii’s Carissa Moore was eliminated in the Olympic quarterfinals by France’s Johanne Defay.
Moore, who won gold at the first ever Olympic surfing competition in Tokyo, will not medal in 2024.
