The evening will feature a three-course gourmet dinner prepared by Sophia Stark, a MasterChef Junior contestant and Miss Hawaii Teen Volunteer 2021. Attendees will also have the chance to participate in a silent auction showcasing local items and surprises.

CHATS founder Rafael Stark, 17, will address the attendees, sharing insights about the organization’s mission and its impact on the community.

CHATS is dedicated to supporting youth with speech challenges through educational events and resources.

Stark, who has a stutter, founded the nonprofit to help empower others to overcome their communication challenges.

“My mission is to break the walls of misconception through education while providing support and resources for youth with speech challenges. So in doing that, CHATS has monthly key events and they are either larger community events where anyone can come and learn more about CHATS,” said Stark.

Tickets for the event are priced at $175 per person, with over 80 percent of the ticket price being tax-deductible.

All proceeds will go towards funding CHATS’ programs and raising awareness about speech challenges.
