According to Interim Executive Director Elizabeth Churchill, this type of yoga has been requested over the past few years. Live Exhibits Expert Kalene Rogers also shared how the aquarium comes to life after regular hours for their special tours.

Marrack, a seasoned yoga instructor who currently teaches Malama Kou Kino (Care for the Body) at The Queen Emma Summer Palace in Nuuanu, will lead the event.

She began teaching in 1999 as a Siddha Yoga Hatha Yoga instructor at the Siddha Yoga Meditation Center of Honolulu until 2019. Marrack also recently completed the Chopra Yoga 200-hour teaching certification.

Her experience includes teaching at Syda Foundation Retreats in Oakland, Boston and Ganeshpuri, India.

Those who plan to attend should bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing, water bottle and strap (if you have one).
